"You can learn a LOT by just looking at the Drive Chart"

2nd Half, Vols had ball for 4 drives - Kentucky had ball for 4 drives

"In the 1st 3 drives in the 2nd Half for the Vols = 12 Plays for 16 yards...that's IT!" (NOTE 4th drive for Vols was Bailey drive, which "caught a LOT of folk's eyes")

"In the 2nd half, Kentucky in 4 drives scored 17 points"

"Kentucky scored MORE POINTS in the 2nd half than the Vols actually GAINED in yards!"

JG simply does not have the awareness on the football field"

"EVERY turnover this year has been QB generated"

"More turnovers than points in the last 6 quarters"

"Our running backs can't seem to break tackles"

"There is no offensive identity"

"Defense is improving, but the offense doesn't do ANYTHING well"

Said it's not a matter of if, but when do you make the change from JG. Do you do it before Bama or after? He thinks that is probably Pruitt's mindset this morning.

Before Bama and you basically get 3 weeks to prep him for Arkansas, but you throw him to the wolves. After Bama you only get two weeks but you don't put him in before he's ready. Says there is simply no way we can beat Bama and talking about what we would need to do to win is futile. It isn't happening in any universe.

He thinks Shrout is done too. It should be Bailey and get him ready for the future.

Of course he's a fan of Pruitt his buddy hired him..All this crap is on cornbread. Luckily for him we lock our coaches up with huge buyouts then give them unwarranted extensions, so the **** show can go on for years after it shouldn't have. They let them build it up and basically tear it back down before they move on. Then pay them for years afterward. Wish i could get in on one of those fancy contracts..

Jeremy Pruitt doesn’t want to live in a world where Jarrett Guarantano isn’t his quarterback. I can see him starting, maybe, somebody else for Bama so they fail, as they surely will vs the Tide, so that he can go back to Guarantano yet again and say “see, see, told you plebes that Jarrett gives us our best chance!”

Regarding our running backs, they’re, AT BEST, glorified 3rd down change of pace backs. None, all 3 that we’ve seen this year, is remotely a reliable, stud rb capable of breaking off long game changing runs, or wearing down a defense with 20-25 carries at 5 years a pop. I’ve never seen, ever, a running back not only go down so easily, but get knocked back and sideways as much as Eric Gray does. He has great lateral movement and cutting ability, but that’s it. Chandler is who he is, which is average to below average who can’t pass protect. True freshman Smalls actually runs with far more power than either of these guys.

Just need to focus on getting better QB play. That's the only thing holding this team back from at least being competitive with a UGA or UF and in the upper tier of the SEC. Will take a little more than that to actually beat UGA and compete with Alabama. This team isn't miles away from taking a big step forward. They went on a winning streak in spite of inconsistent play at QB because the rest of the team is actually pretty solid. I think the people calling for Pruitt to be fired already are pretty stupid. It's not like his success is fool's gold where one incredibly dynamic player (Dobbs) is the reason you're winning. Put Dobbs on this team and where do you think they are? This team is built much better than any Butch team, they're just lacking solid play at the most important position on offense.

Watching the Jeremy Pruitt Show. Gray getting interviewed by the petite little girl that does interviews now....she’s every bit as big as Gray from what I can see. Is Gray the smallest running back we’ve ever had at Tennessee? Even Pig Howard is saying, “damn, Eric Gray is small”.

I think you give the team to Bailey after Alabama

I actually understand why you are saying this.

But I HATE why you are saying this.

If Bailey is gonna be EXPECTED to play against and WIN against Alabama while he is here...why would Tennessee "protect him" from playing against Alabama.

Remember...the story of David and Goliath is REAL!

Yep.

Watch Najee Harris or White from UGA for what a real SEC RB is supposed to look like.

I've had my fill of watching Gray and Chandler bust blocking assignments and get taken down with ankle tackles with nothing but green in front of them.

The only RB on roster that can break tackles is playing lost in coverage on defense.

Yeah, losing Tim Jordan was a big blow. He would have been the guy that runs over and wears down a defense, while you have Gray and Chandler for more finesse plays.
