he has made NCSU better. but he did just finish a year very similar to the year Butch had here in 2016. best team NCSU has had a long time, some real promise for the season, and they got a couple good wins, and stubbed their toe a lot more than what was expected.

solid coach. better than butch...probably. anything that would excite us...not really.

This is exactly right. And NCSU didn't even had all the injuries we had last year. He would be way, way down my list.

I don't think Doeren is as good as Butch. He had NFL talent on D this year and a good QB and he really laid eggs in every major game (FSU was horrible this year).

yes. He even has Jimmy Sexton as an agent so the Haslems will be happy! You can not in any way say he is not better than Doeren.

This guy is about 2 years away from being fired at NC State. His take no accountability style is eerily similar to Jones. Go watch press conferences from after losses. You'll find him blaming everything from refs to laptops but not taking personal accountability.

If we've screwed up the Brohm hire, we need to pursue the Troy coach, take a gamble with Tee, or even hire Kiffin before hiring this guy.

Doeren was graded as the worst hire Tennessee could make. Even the mid-tier coaches were ranked much higher. The problem is Currie is not taking the advice of the people who were brought in to advise him. It will cost him his job and will set Tennessee back another 10 years.
