Ya know I honestly dont think he will go anywhere but being a position coach for your old college team is hardly a dream job. Get real buddy. If he gets an offer for more money and a better position/title with more of a chance to move up then he's gone. Football is business.

i know chuck smith was a great football player at tennessee.

but, someone explain to me what the big deal is about chuck smith the d-line coach.

im not doubting that you may know some info, BC, but to the casual observer, people making up rumors sounds much less ignorant a claim than inside info that is only known by UT alums.

I live in Atlanta and he was interviewed on 680 The Fan last week. They questioned him about leaving and he said, "I am all Vol"

What did Wylie say last week? I'm not saying he is 100% leaving and I am not the one with the sources on this, but the couple who have the source on this say it's a very high possibility that he is gone shortly after NSD.

I know that reading comprehension is probably way over your head, but let's try this again. This isn't my rumor or something that I claim to have gotten from a source. Those who have brought this out are known to have sources close to the program. The only time I brought up being an alum is when called a non Vol fan troll. It's ignorant and so is your little rant that I am replying to.

There are two posters on our site who have posted the same info and possibility of chuck smith leaving (85%) after NSD. This is not from me and I have no claim to cred for it if it happens. What I am arguing with you is how you think this is just some stupid rumor poster by "non Vol fan trouble making trolls". You believe whatever you want, certainly your right, but I take post from LWS and SB Vol over most here when it comes to non linked rumors.

I don't know what Wylie said last week. I don't recall him saying he wasn't going to Texas though. I know Wilcox said he wasn't going to Texas, and he didn't. I'm just saying.

You do know Wilcox had his bags packed and was Texas bound until the eleventh hour. I hope we keep them all, but just because a coach says he isn't leaving is pretty far from a certainty.

Did the people in the know tell you this? I doesn't matter if they were packed, he stayed. Which means our head coach and AD stepped up to the plate. Good signs moving forward if other schools come after our coaches.
