I'm on staff at the arena and another usher that works the tunnel closest to the visitors bench shared this with me after the game. He said when Calipari came in for the last warm-up he looked at the seats for his team and noticed they all said "Tennessee" on them. He refused to sit in one and wanted to swap his out for a plain black folding chair. The sports info guys said no and he pitched a fit. They ended up having to bring Bud Ford and Tim Reese over there and they told him "tough"! I love it!

Well if you go to Ky they probaly have UK on the visitors chairs. I dont know maybe throw a towel over it Calipari. lol shows your class thats all

Then they need to bring their own chairs next time. Looks like Ken-Turkey did more sitting on their butt than playing. LOL

Considering all the bogus stories about UK this past year, don't mind if I take this with a block of salt.

Maybe he should order the UK gofers to bring a bunch of UK chairs next time.

What do they have in common? Aren't both slick and slimy? Both get better when cooked.

I have no idea whether or not this story is true, And i do not know Bud Ford at all, Nor do i speak at all for Tim Reese or have any knowledge of this situation, but i used to work at the Arena alot and Tim Reese is a great guy and really doesnt get the credit he deserves when it comes to all events in that building. I have known of him to sleep there on a couch for an hour or two many nights going from concerts one evening to Ballgame the next morning to Convention that evening and so on. He gets down with the crew alot and works side by side when the need is there. Almost always started the first line of the basketball court when we were putting down the floor to help make sure it was measured and lined right. That being said he is a no nonsense and Stern guy. Im sure with Camp Pearl happening the night before ts very possible he had been up all night before and probably didnt care a whole about Calaparis said tantrum fit or the Possibility of hurting his feelings, so i can see that possibly happening if Calipari is that petty.

Really funny if true. We should have given him the chair to take home to Rupp with him.

This is his post game. Check out the bandages on his right hand. Drew Rutherford said he punched through a clipboard during UT's first half run.

The way I heard it was far less glamorous.

I heard he snapped the clip on his hand which resulted in the bandage.

Rutherford said he was relating it 2nd hand from an aide.

In the video it looks like maybe more damage than just the clip..

"Haven't heard/dont know anything about chairs. One of our staffers told me they saw him shatter the clipboard to pieces."
