Close the Gate already

So this is very small and not sure if anyone else noticed but it is the off season so off topic....

If I am the New AD at UTK I understand the power T is one of the main "branding items" for UT Athletics. We have these really nice iron gates with the iron "Power T" made into them. One of my pet peeves has been that everytime we score a touchdown there is a camera on the goal post and the gate, never fails one gate is half open and the Power T is not really shown, can we institute a rule that for those 30 seconds it takes to kick a FG or an extra point stop through traffic for a minute and close the Gate to represent the Power T on national television. Again very petty and small detail but it bugs me every time.

Fire Marshal Bill says "No" to closing the gate. If the field catches fire the players have to be able to escape.

Let's see: You have shots of Neyland Stadium, shots of the fans wearing orange inside the stadium, the checkerboard endzones, the big T on the 50 yard line...but somehow UT is misrepresented with a half-closed gate? Got it.

I just wish the 50yard line did not cut threw the T, its not required, it looks ugly, why do they do that?

They need to keep that gate closed while we're running thru the T, so the $@&%#*€ visiting team can't run onto the field til we're done! I guess that'll change when the visitors entrance is changed with the South end remodeling

Hahaha, half the reason for posting was just to see the remarks...haha...however now that it is mentioned to you...you will notice every time now.

Agree this should be on the top of the A D agenda
And what about the popcorn way to much salt and the cokes too much ice not enough drink .

You forgot the vols on the padding on the field goal posts.
