I read that quote in The Tennessean this morning which tends to make me think unless Stephens completely outshines JC in practice, there is no way Crompton doesn't start. Kiffin is has been high on the guy ever since he tried to recruit him out of high school and I imagine he will lean towards the guy with the most experience.

When I read Kiffin's comments about Crompton having the tools but needing to put it together, I get the feeling that he's not very confident in what Crompton is capable of doing.

To me that looks like he's opening the door for something else in case he doesn't get it together.

I agree on one thing: that Nick Stephens will likely end up being the guy

But I have to say SO WHAT about inside sources. I have a close friend who works in the football office and he has been saying the same thing... he watches 7 on 7's every day and keeps telling me that Stephens has been consistently performing better than Crompton.

...BUT football is not played 7 on 7 with no pads and no pass rush. Speculation is one thing. Based on what I've heard, I would speculate that it will be Stephens. But I'm eager to see what happens early this next week. We're about to know...

Alright guys, get this. I was just at the Wendy's in Ooltewah picking up a Grilled Chicken Sandwich for lunch (Mrs. Hymen says no spicy chicken right now due to my portly waistline,) and I overheard two employees say that Jacques Smith told them when he was grabbing a chili in the drive-thru last night that he heard from Herman Lathers that the whole team is actually behind Rozier to be the starter by Florida week at the latest!!!! And that Rozier has an even stronger arm now than he did 4 years ago, which will be PERFECT for the deep ball to D Moore. I said OMG, then I LOL'd for a minute, then had to go to the bathroom bc i was so overwhelmed that i just had to chill out for a minute.... NOW, this is where the source really revealed itself to me... while in the bathroom i noticed that the Boston song, "Don't Look Back" was playing out of a speaker above my head. Coincidence??? I think not my friends. Take it for what it's worth. JMO
