Well, after searching all over for the dang thing, I've heard that they quit making them. I did find an XL at Dick's in Memphis, but the thing is huge. If anyone comes across one in a large please let me know.

Good luck finding one I have been looking for one for over a month now. They said as soon as CLK wore it hey sold out. I went to every store in Knoxville and they said that was part of the 09 sideline gear that is ordered 1 year in advance and they would not be getting any more in. The lady at Finish Line in Knoxville told me to just keep checking online that there is a chance around X-Mas that they might get some.

For the love of God, can we PLEASE just drop Addidas? Then all the apparel will be so much easier to find & soooo much better looking!

We're not dropping adidas, at least, not for the next 5 years. New contract starts next year. Nike and others didn't offer anywhere near the same deal that adidas did.

I got a chance to look at the 2010 Adidas line, and the sideline stuff for next year looks even better than the stuff out now

I saw one in a Dicks Sporting Goods like I mentioned earlier, but I see that they no longer have them online. The Black Polo that the team has also sold out with a quickness. Checking with a local store, the owner said that they have been promised new ones for about 5 weeks now, but Adidas has not made anymore. Same seems to be true of the black warm-up top.

Adidas seems to be dropping the ball this year. I have not really minded having Adidas, butI was in a store the other day and we had so few TN options as compared to our Nike brethren.

Hamilton said last week UT did not have any thing black
officially licensed for sale. It was for the coaches only.

I heard some boosters do not want UT acting like Georgia,
who copied South Carolina, because Spurrier was not keen
on garnet. He was wearing black at Washington, then SC
had it all of a sudden.

I guess he is mistaken or misquoted because I have seen plenty of black Adidas officially licensed in stores this fall. Most of it has flown of the shelf as soon as it come in, but there are things for sale. Likewise, there are some licensed stuff that is not adidas, that is for sale as well.

If I am not mistaken, the store on UT's website just released a bunch of black items.

They haven't dropped the ball, the retailers ordered too little product. Its not possible for Nike, adidas or anyone else to whip up tons of additional merchandise in weeks. The retailers place their orders 9-10 months in advance, knowing that a re-order is not going to be possible.

adidas made available a record amount of new styles this year, and with the track record of sales the past few years, the stores ordered less than they should have.

Adidas is sort of stuck in the middle on this one. The retailers under-ordered knowing that additional product wouldn't be available if there was a run on it. But then the retailers tell the customer its adidas' fault that they can't order any more. Schools that are with Nike have the same problem. They make what they make, and if it sells out, it sells out.

What we've seen happn over the last few months is adidas taking some stock items they they sell to high schools and small colleges, adding a power T and sending that to try to meet the new demand.

I know for a fact that local retailers have almost doubled their orders for next year. There will be some new items that will appear around spring practice, with the bulk of the new gear coming in July and August, as usual.

It's funny that everyone is looking for this. My father-in-law was looking for it, and found out that they are sold out nation-wide with this one.

On a semi-related note, sports seasons just put all the black jerseys back on their website, they won't ship until december however.

I saw this at McMillian's on Cumberland, earlier in the season. Haven't paid attention if they've had it the past few times I've been in there. I also like the new Adidas full zip jacket with the black on it and Vols Football on the back. Problem is it costs $80 everywhere I've seen it. Haven't pulled the trigger on it, YET.
