Why doesn't the SEC spend some of the millions they get from TV money and hire real refs, not these part time bozos who make big mistakes every game????

My thoughts exactly. The SEC should do a Nationwide search, hire the best available, make it a full-time position (with basketball, spring and fall football camps it would be practically that), and pay them 100k or whatever it takes to get the best. I can think of only one current crew that would make it.

Liberal idiots? Please leave the partisanship at home. Nobody wants to hear that garbage political talk on Volnation. That is one of the best things about this site.
The time to protect the SEC at all costs is gone. The SEC is considered the top conference by everybody logical. The only way we can screw that up is to seem like a 'good ole boys' network that cheats a lot. With Bama in the conference, it is already hard enough not to be seen as cheaters.
I, for one, am happy that a very popular host of one of the most popular ESPN shows is calling Slive out. The worst thing would be if everyone continues to ignore the calls, which would allow Slive to do this again next year, not that he won't try anyway.

+1. Slime needs to realize that the SEC is the minor league version of the NFL. He needs to budget a piece of the billion dollars that ESPN gave the conference and hire full time professional refs. I'm sure he could work a partnership with the NFL and use the SEC as a way to train refs with the goal of stepping up to the big leagues. The SEC has always been the leader in college football. We need to lead when it comes to officiating.

Conspiracy? how about we have a terrible kicker. that fits more then crying over bad calls. Cant control what gets call, but can control missing 3 field goals.
