Climers job is to get people talking. If he writes that CPF will not be removed, it gets the people pissed about it and talking more. Its all in an effort to get people to buy a 75 cent paper now.
He's just playing the odds, they're good that we do nothing like in the past. Yeah he wrote it to get people riled up. It worked, after i read it i wanted to puke.

The buyout would be very expensive, but if things continue to go this poorly, and a change isn't made, UT will be looking at continued losses of concession sales, merchandise sales, etc. So, there is a hefty price tag either way.

Climer is a first class tool without a doubt. One of the worst homers in the history of sports writers, however he is probably right on this one.

What decrease in attendance would make the powers that be go into action? 30,000, 40,000, 50,000?
Good question. I don't know the answer. Attendance had been down, but hamilton sites other factors as the reason. Hdtv, higher gas prices and a sluggish economy are his reasons for it.

what if Fulmer somehows pulls out a miracle and win the SEC east and then the championship (it won't happen unless God intervenes i know), but then what should we do, still fire him?

this is not going to happen, god really doesn't like football.

Isn't that where it OUGHT to be? Graduation rate, academics, civic involvement and a HOST of other considerations should all be ranked higher on the priority list than athletics. Good lord. I understand wanting to win, but implying that a university should be judged by its football team's performance is a little silly to me. I would HOPE that UT is a university that puts beating Florida, Bama, Georgia, Auburn, Vandy, South Carolina, L.S.U. and the rest of the football schedule first. Just my opinion, which is worth what you pay for it. :hi:

Agree:thumbsup: (edited slightly)
