Clemson @ Virginia Tech

Troy is no pushover. FSU is still way talented even without Manuel especially on D. Auburn is hit & miss, not great but no slouch just doing what they have to do to win. Just because VT got beat handily that doesn't mean they suck. They were highly ranked.

Troy is not good.

Wofford is not good.

Auburn is not good.

Tech is not good.

Being highly-ranked means shat.

I can understand why you're hating being a USCjr fan. I agree with the highly ranked part you guys proved it means shat but as long as Clemson keeps winning expect them to keep moving up.

That's fine. It doesn't change the fact that they have only defeated one noteworthy team. If you want to believe VT, Auburn, Troy, and Wofford are good, that's fine.

I wouldn't call Clemson "legit" yet either, HOWEVER; I would say they and GT are clearly the two best teams in the ACC, and will probably play eachother for the title game. Clemson also plays @ GT at the end of the month, I don't think either team will still be undefeated by that time but it will be the ACC championship preview. Should be Clemson's 2nd divisional title and could be their first conference title and first major bowl in about 30 years.

My problem with clemson is they have one challenge left this season. Yes that's what you get with the acc, but I.still don't like it, just like I didn't like vt getting a bcs game last year

In comparison to USCjr & their schedule who is lucky to have 1 win.

What does this even mean? It has nothing to do with what I said. You're reaching, and it's showing.

Clemson. No brainer. We have no quarterback.
Posted via VolNation Mobile

Then why insist on letting him throw the ball when you have arguably the best RB in the country? You road him last year & lobbed a few to Jeffrey every now & then & that was it. Maybe Jeffrey is the bust.

I wish I could answer that question. My guess is Spurrier wanted to establish the pass to open up the run against Auburn, as Auburn was going to sell out to stop Lattimore. Obviously, that wasn't the best of plans.

At this point last season, AJ had almost 500 yds receiving by himself. To date this season, our team has right around 600 yards receiving.

6.2 yards per carry really sucks, especially considering how terrible Tech's o-line is.

Couldn't find paydirt. I guess it's easy to attribute the success of a team to lack of talent from a #10/11 opponent, but we'll see if that holds water when Virginia Tech runs the table the rest of the way.

Troy, Wofford, and Auburn are terrible.

Tech is mediocre at best.

If Auburn is "terrible," what does that make South Carolina?

Granted, you're going to say "even worse," but South Carolina is far from terrible. They're a decent team with no defense and a lackluster quarterback who would probably be winning most other conference titles.

Getting beat by a bad team does not mean you are worse than them, it means you didn't show up to play that day. We got beat by an inferior opponent that came ready to play. We have a good defense, and great players on offense, but we don't have a quarterback that can execute the offense. Our defense could only save us for so long.

Virginia Tech will get creamed by Miami and likely by Georgia Tech, at minimum. You must not watch much football if you think their offense will be able to do anything against most teams.

Then again, Tech winning out wouldn't be that big of a victory, considering the horrible weakness of their schedule.

Face it, Clemson's played nobody. Clemson will choke several times in the season as usual. Yabo Dabo sucks, and he's heading things up at a school than fancies themselves as SEC caliber when they can't win anything meaningful and would likely end the season with 5 wins yearly in the SEC.

But anyways, what's the point of arguing with an idiot who can't narrow his college-team fandom down to at least two teams (which is bad enough)?

They are pretty close to terrible. Their defense can't stop the run. Their offense can only run. I call that far from a good team.

So Virginia Tech sucks and me thinking they're not going to lose to Miami and Georgia Tech makes me an "idiot" who doesn't watch much college football... but Virginia Tech winning out isn't that big a deal because their schedule is weak?

It must be nice skirting actual arguments by simply covering all of your bases.

Not sure how you get auburn is inferior. It's not like USCjr has been impressive against anybody. Y'all could easily be 1-4 right now or 0-5 if vandy had any offense.
