Clemson troubles may impact more than recruiting

This is a great Clemson website... This DrB guy knows his football.. if many "fall on the sword" for Dabo as he suggests.. Clemson may be looking for more than coaches... ie a new athletic director.. in mike hamilton... near end of the article.. he suggests someone other than a clemson man but the feeling must be out there that they would consider him seeing he has tn making a profit

It better be. lol I really think we are set at coaching. Summitt-Lady Vols Dooley-football Pearl-basketball. Tennessee has some good coaches at all levels, Now we need a baseball coach, where is Phil Garner at?

I think Mike Hamilton has done an excellent job as Tennessee's AD and I think we will miss him if he leaves.

Hamilton ruined football, plus basketball and baseball are under NCAA investigation. The sooner he is gone, the better.

Regardless of how you feel about Mike Hamilton, losing him to a smaller school is another black eye we don't really need. A school with the brand and history of a UT doesn't lose an AD to Clemson.

I am not sure the Mike ruined football as you say, most AD's in this country would have kept Fulmer that long if not longer, and he made a mistake with Kiffin, that apparently many AD's in the country would have also made. Basketball and Baseball under investigation lays at the feet of the coaches.

that's absurd. There is no rational defense for firing Fulmer after '05. If you were the AD, I'm sure you wouldn't have had the balls to do it. And if you had the balls, you wouldn't have been a very wise AD.

Agree with the rationale. But only 2x Hammy could have fired fulmer. After '05 and after '08. Firing him after '05 would have just been risky and rash.
