Clear bag policy question

I've got a small icemule backpack cooler that I want to use while tailgating, and ideally not have to take it back to the car before the game. It collapses down and rolls up pretty small and would fit inside the 12x12x6 clear bag that you are allowed to bring in. Anyone have any idea if I'll be able to take it in as long as it's empty and rolled up inside the clear bag??

Generally, I thought clear bags means no bags. But if I was the security guy, I would have no problem with it.

Yeah I’m thinking it probably all depends on who is working that gate. Unless they make me empty out the clear bag, they’re not even going to know what it is. But the policy does clearly state no coolers and no bags that arent see thru, so that’s what worries me, if they were to ask me what it is, that’s a $60 cooler I’d probably have to just throw away

Another option would be is you bring the cooler in the clear bag and tell them that TNnative from VolNation said that it would be okay

I am diabetic and in treatment for cancer. I had a thermos of ice water for the Ball State game. Had to throw it in the trash at the gate !!

Would think the Vols have a process for labeling items as medically approved before gate inspection. The Titans do.

If you had an extra t-shirt wrapped around it, it would protect it. If it was at the bottom, your sunscreen, keys, some napkins from lunch, and your sunglasses would fit just right on top.

Stash it in the bushes outside gate 10. It worked for me for years.

Or, bring it over to G10. I’ll let you leave it at my tailgate.

I like the bush idea LOL... I think I'll just get a little 6 can ozark trail cooler from Walmart for $7 bucks and then either stash it in the bushes or set it next to a dumpster and if it's still there after the game, great; if not, I'm only out $7.

They probably do , but would likely charge you an arm and a leg to do it. They don’t care if you are over 75 , I’ll or anything lose. They only want more of your/our $$$$.
