That's not a joke.

What's even more incredible?

They had to call-in the national guard to watch the Knoxville police to make sure they didn't shoot Kiffin.

I usually don't find much to like about some of Clay Travis' articles, but that one was dead on and had some good funny.

Clay might want to brush up on his math skills. If X was here on Nov. 30 2008 through Jan. 2010, that's 13 months plus a couple weeks not 12 months and a couple weeks.

Along that same line, however, I listened to an interview of X by a Cali. reporter, and X referred to his tenure here as 16 months long, LMAO.

What I like about this article is that it puts what was here when X got here and what X left in perspective. X will not have a recruiting class here that another coach didn't substantially impact.

I truley believe he left UT to go to USC because he could blame the coming dismal record on the NCAA sanctions that ARE coming thus dismissing himself from any responcabilty. The JA can't coach but he can lay the blame any and everyone but himself. You guys are lucky he only infected the program for year IMO:rock:

Plus, from everything I've heard, Monte is a class act.

Unlike Lane, Monte made the rounds apologizing to UT officials for his son's decision to bolt to Los Angeles. Monte even let it be known that he didn't agree with the decision.

If this is true, why didn't Monte set his foot down and refuse to go to USC. At the very least, he could have taught his son a lesson, and perhaps USC wouldn't have wanted Lane sans Monte.
