Well he's obviously happy. An unsteady UT is better for him than a steady one; plus his boyfriend appears to be safe at Penn St. so you know he's happy.

Did Dooley ever beat Georgia?

Yes, we are in much better shape and heading in a better direction...but we don't know where Butch will plateau...he may be there now or he may still improve...

The rational approach is to always be looking for succession candidates before you are in a crisis...since we will have a new AD, I'm sure he will be looking at who he might want and maybe even have some closed discussion...

Many people believe Saban agreed to the Bama job months before Shula was ever fired...Bama may a very deliberate, rational decision and it worked well...trying to hire a coach when you've already fired yours is always a bad place to be...

I think he was fooled into believing the hype like the rest of us. With the talent Butch has there's no reason why this team couldn't be 7-1 right now. People can hate the guy all they want but he's right about Jones.
