I agree.....they seem to be a lot more objective than Clay. He wasn't like this when the show started.....it's just been the last 2-3 months, when UT was at their worst. I think it really shows his character to pile on the Vols when they are at the bottom. I hope he also realizes that all the UT fans that he is alienating are not going to come back. He doesn't realize that there are 2-1 UT to Vandy fans here.

Could have changed but I think the main sponsor is MRS. Grissoms. FWIW, I sent them an e-mail and told them I no longer support their products and why. My wife didn't get it at first but they are off the grocery list from now on.

This kind of stuff gets said every week in every locker room and I think it is in poor taste to capture and post what gets said after an emotional game like this one. It should never appear on the web and whoever originally captured it and decided to post it is a moron imo. You are not much brighter for posting it now. All you do is provide idiots like Travis ammunition to use against us.

Far, far worse has been said by all our coaches ever since we first fielded a team. That is a private moment between a coach and his team and if Dooley wanted it aired he would have invited in the press.

I *WAS* a Clay Travis fan on facebook and twitter and visited OKTC several times a week, until this outrage. Now he is apparently just hurt that his team lost in knoxville, but there is no excuse for this type of behavior.

I never posted a link nor even mentioned the name of his website as I didn't want to give him additional traffic. I accidentally landed on it myself. My post was to be critical of Travis' implications, not to broadcast Dooley's comments.

Clay is just a younger/wanabee version of Jim Rome. I quit listening to Rome a long time ago, but with Clay it's tough because I like Blaine Bishop and Brent Dougherty (a Vol). I'll be interested to see where there ratings are in the new drive-time time slot next time around.

I think people are giving him too much crap over the Vandy thing though. There are a lot of us who cheer for UT, but saw Vandy play close with UGA, ARK, and UF and took that to mean they should beat UT. I mean, even Vegas picked the 'dores. I'll be interested to hear his comments on Monday.

Witch doctor, didn't know that about Clay's dad and the owner if Cumulus. I don't know who Clay's dad is but I live here in Nashville, and everyone is tired of Clay's attitude.

Brent should leave the show and go to 102.5 when his contract runs out. He is the only true professional on the show.

What's sad is that at one point he truly was a vfl. On rocky top was a good read and he obviously rooted for us from childhood on. He started down this path when he became.more concerned about ratings than being true to himself.
