I don't know about you, but after watching the national championship game being called Alabama's JV squad is not really an insult. Yes it means we are still less than Bama, but coming from second to last in the SEC that would be a huge jump forward. I think the only team that Alabama's JV squad could not beat in the SEC would be Bama or LSU.

So, I will take it as a compliment even though Travis clearly meant it as a dig.

i won't take it as a compliment but will admit that things are looking up...and yes it is clearly a dig from poor ole' butt hurt clay

104.5 is all in on the Dooley bashing. Kuharsky got into the act this week. I do not listen to anything on 104.5 anymore.

He devoted an entire article to that over a DC hire?

What a freaking toolbag. Seriously. I want to get in a bar fight with this dude.

he would just write a article saying he kicked some UT fans ass in a barfight and then ask james franklin how cool he is:whistling::whistling:

he just said that with the Vols hiring Sunseri that we have become alabamas jv squad...sounds like he's butt hurt again..

Straight off the Bama boards.

Like I posted in another thread: coaches get recycled here and there over and over, and it's only natural that some Bama guys end up here after Dooley (not Bama, but Saban) and Hart (Bama) are here.....people gravitate towards those they know and trust.

It would have been great to get some from the Fulmer coaching tree -- after all, he had 16 yrs.....except there are none, save Chavis and maybe Randy Sanders.

I was worried bout a week ago that others would start calling UT "Baby Bama" ... what do ya expect.

We currently have one coach from Bama (oops, 2, forgot LT since he's been here 3yrs now).

And the one administrator from Bama, IIRC, spent more, and most, of his time at FSU.

Dooley is not from Bama, but because of his association with Saban, people lump him in.

Yeah it would have been nice for sure if fulmer had some over time. Sunseri really isn't a bama guy he is a coach and like u said they move around. It's natural. Now Hart is a true Bama guy which is his only default so far IMO :)

Boycott 105.5!!! They are supposed to be the "Flagstation" of UT sports but when is the last time they had a UT coach on the air? They spend more time on Vandy than they do any other school. I made the mistake of turning them on this morning and guess what Kevin Stallings was on! I thought some of this crap would end after Plaster left but Clay has filled the void.

Wonder why he doesn't call us LSU's jr varsity? After all, Dooley worked at LSU with these guys.

"Before joining Alabama's staff, Sunseri was the defensive line coach with the NFL's Carolina Panthers for seven seasons. Sunseri has worked under Nick Saban on two occasions. He was on LSU's staff in 2000 as linebackers coach; Dooley also was on that same LSU staff as tight ends coach and recruiting coordinator."

Oh yeah....he's just stirring the chit to get hits on his site.

Hart played bball for bama, so he is a true bama guy. The rest I agree with u on.

Travis is all-in like some of the posters here. Fortunately for them, if DD succeeds and makes them look like fools for making premature condemnations... they can just quit posting or get a different screen name. It could cost Travis alot more.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch........ Vanderbilt announces the hiring of a coach from New Mexico and a coach from Western Michigan.

Any comments, Clay???

Does anyone think Clay Travis neglects Franklin's nuts? He is all over Twitter about UT now being Alabama North and Bama's JV etc etc....I wonder when Franklin leaves Vandy if we'll be lucky and Travis will leave Tennessee.

I stole his crappy book from Barnes and Noble. Then I went back and ripped the cover off the rest of the ones on the shelf.

Take that, Clay!
