Can't understand why it has to be top of the list or bottom around here. Double or nothing

Just hire a quality HEAD coach dammit

If we hire Tee, it needs to be looked at as a longterm hire. There will probably be some growing pains. That being said, Tee will need to be able to assemble a senior staff. That means he needs $$$. He will need a strong DC who can operate the defense on his own. And he will need a strong OC and QB coach. One reason why he has suceeded is that he is a very good position coach. He needs an up and comer like himself to run the O.

Whether the administration hires a young coach like Tee, or a senior coach like Jimbo or someone else- they need to up their dollars. UT does not have a big budget, despite what you all think. Why do you think Mullen is in Florida and we don't get any looks from the big names? These coaches go where they make $$$ and if they are putting up with our fan base, they want more money. UT thinks coaches should take pay cuts to come here. That's Bull $#*!. Why would Mullen give up security for a lateral move? There are only two reasons....money and opportunity. And let's face it, the opportunity for a coach at Tennessee right now is debatable enough that leaving security behind for equal money isn't going to happen. Not even for some up and comers who would normally jump at the job.

Tee has accomplished very little. Is USC’s offense a juggernaut? He started the season with a probable heisman contender and nothing.
The people I know from USC don’t like him or respect him as a coach. They actually want him gone!
The ONLY reason his name is coming up is because of nostalgic value and recruiting. Bring him in as a recruiter maybe an OC.but head coach? Cmon man
