Clawson's expression said it all

In the Auburn game we had two people on different possessions wide open in the middle of the field. The announcers noticed as well and commented as I remember. I would say we are calling the correct plays (for the majority of the time), but...if we don't throw to the guys open who's fault is that?

I would lay down a second mortage on this house on a bet that if we would have taken Crompton out at Half time and placed in Gerald Jones behind center we would have won this Football game in a BIG Way.

I don't see how he could ever get his head right after these losses even with all the talent in the world.

As for Clawson, we seem to be able to run the ball, and, when we do find ourselves in a 3rd and 4 or 5 situation, he calls the right play, but we can't execute.

i agree, how many wide open recievers can you miss and still blame it on the OC? he can't come out there and throw it for you

"I personally believe that, U.S. Americans are unable to do so, because some… people out there in our nation that don’t have maps, and I believe that our education, like such as in South Africa and the Iraq, everywhere like such as, and I believe that they should… our education over here in the U.S., should help the U.S., er, should help South Africa and should help the Iraq and the Asian countries so we will be able to build up our future.., for our children... If you did your research Clawson has run just about every offense there is depending on the personnel he had at the differnent schools. We are not in a "spread" offense because we don't have the personnel. We can't run it because people load the box knowing we can't throw it successfully. Give the guy a break, he will produce given the personnel, and if you think we have all the pieces needed for this puzzle you are definately in denial.

A go to receiver that is a deep threat
and a "stable" qb and then we are their imo
