I just heard from a friend who knows a guy that said Fulmer didn't want to throw Clawson under the bus, so he threw him off the plane last night. This guy is a very good source, and he may know what he's talking about because his buddy works in the media.

Throwing Clawson out won't save his job. Hiring him gave Phil one more year, and now that is over too.

I heard some media folks on Friday saying that Clawson did not wear orange to thier last press conference (apparently a first) and that he seemed much moreat ease.

We really need to stop this I heard from a guy until we have an actual source. They are all out, now we just need the official confirmation.

I heard from a guy, who knows a guy, who knows another guy who used to date another guy's sister, that this is how we should handle this issue.

Then again, I may have misunderstood.

I have the mental image of the girl being thrown out of the plane in "The Good Shepherd." I can see Clawson in slow motion falling helplessly into the South Carolina forest with his playbook slowly floating behind him.

Before he realized Clawson doesn't have a chute Crompton grabbed a gun and jumped out after him a la Point Break.
