Which offense was worse?

Watching both of these offenses is/was extremely painful?

The Clawfense was much, much worse and it's not even close. That was the most pathetic I've ever seen with no help of getting better. This offense has potential and you see flashes of it. They are just not putting it together. We scored quite a bit last week against VT and that would never happened against even an FCS team with the Clawfense.

The funny thing is the clawfence didn't fail because of Clawsen and this offense isn't failing because of DeBord. Both were byproducts of the HC

I am just assuming our poor play calling has been due to us simply not wanting to show anything until Florida.

I don't think we've even run a jet sweep yet.

Cutcliffe was terrible with his screen calls as was Sanders. Cutcliffe was awful again when our QB was on drugs. Clawson was atrocious with his mirroring offensive line. Chaney sucked because he didn't run it enough. Bajakian didn't have a clue. Debord should be organizing heats in the 400m. The only thing that all these guys have in common is that they coach young men wearing orange. I question many calls, but the only ones that can truly affect them are wearing pads.

There's a lot of things we haven't been running offensively, as compared to last season. I don't know if it's by design or not. Stay tuned...

But yet he found a HC job where Debord only had swimming.

It would be a 3-2 or 7-3 type game

In 4 overtimes

The Clawfense can hardly even be called an offense (by definition an offense should move the ball down the field and score points). This Deboring crap that Butch insists on isn't much better, but at least occasionally we do score (usually thanks to good field position courtesy of special teams or turnover)

I hate watching both and this current mess is wasting some good talent. DeBords play calls do nothing to help a struggling O Line and instead it plays to their weakest attributes. Too bad Butch is too stubborn -- it could be his downfall

Why pick? They both sucked and it amazes me that anyone defends either one of them. We are not developing talent and have no wrinkles or originality to keep a defense off balance. But this has all been said before and is dismissed as rust, execution, and that our opponents are really better than we thought.
