I think that he's gonna be ok. I'm sure it's probably sore, but unlesss it gets worse in practice this week, I think he will want to tough it out for his teammates.

I think Ainge lost the faith of the coaching staff. Its going to take a lot for him to get that back. I think Clausen goes all the way, unless he gets hurt worse, which is a real possibility.

To much reading into Ricks dings IMO.
At no point did he limp, or favor his Left Achilles against (Ole Miss). The tendinitis acted up somewhere during/after the LSU game.

Ricks starts and takes the win! Do we see Ainge? I think it could be game plan. Ploy or Decoy, it forces UGA to protect the field.

If Ainge enters the game UT has:
A. lost
b. ahead by more than 40
c. the HC has lost his mind

Coach Fulmer's statement on Ainge/Clausen went something like:

Ainge is obviously the better prospect. Rick is just a get-it-done kinda guy. Ainge is just one play from starting again, and he knows it.

Read into that what you will...

why is it if ainge were starting there was no question how much he would play. There was no one saying whether or not RC would play in the LSU game. RC has won the starting job and i dont see why ainge will go in. He had his chance and he blew it. Had he stayed in the LSu game it would have been a blowout.

I have had the same condition for 3 yrs now. It is chronic. I play about 120 softball games a year and i suspect that Rick will loosen up quite well. He may stove up during half time but should get on a bike or do something to keep the tendon warn.

Sunday will be a MUTHA though. He will need to week off to get ready for Bama. The bad part is that it take about of month of doing nothing to get back to 100% and he doesn't have that kind of time.

If the boy Clausen can keep us in the game and he stays healthy he will play the whole game. If he struggles or obviously if he gets hurt EA's coming in. My gut feeling is that this offense will have a rough time on Sat. and if Rick plays the whole game we lose. Everybody is seeming to forget that this is the best secondary we will have faced all season and one of the best in the SEC...

But if he proves me wrong and wins the game Ill never have another bad thing to say about him...

He'll play the whole game......I thought about saying he'll leave at the end of the 3rd quarter cuz we'll be up so much we can do that LOL...but I don't see that happening

From now on, I think we should refer to Jim Bob as, "The Cooter". That sounds good. Hey coach, who are we gonna put in. CPF: The Cooter. That flows just right.
