How many Christian Churches have been destroyed by Muslims?

I'm sure you have the number right at your finger tips, please enlighten us. However, you would be missing the point entirely. There are millions of upstanding Muslim citizens in this Country but knuckleheads continue to
condemn them all because they have bought into the Islamophobia being shoved down their throats by Trump and the Alt Right. When you paint with broad strokes, you are part of the problem, not the solution.

No, it's not. It is absolutely considered culturally ignorant to use Indian in lieu of their tribe. I've also worked with a lot of tribes and that is what I've gathered. Indian is just a more lazy way to say Native American.

I disliked Obama. I dislike Trump even more. One thing has nothing do with the other. I get that you voted against Hillary, but that doesn't excuse any sort of pride you may have in Trump's actions. Supporting the office is one thing. Approving of unprofessional, immature, childish and boastful behavior of the person in the office of POTUS, is borderline unpatriotic.

I do not endorse Trumps antics.

I see you’ve received your Circle Of Morons Card.

Yeah man, I’m the problem. But your boy funded these fools and you have no problem with that.

Gonna call BS.

I know plenty of Indians. And they don’t like native in front of it.

Besides, isn’t Native American a little redundant??

Isn’t there a difference in Native American vs African American.

One is born here, the other isn’t.

Both are divisive terms designed exactly TO divide. In a supposed melting pot they should both need to be removed from the lexicon.

Both are politically correct terms designed to avoid offending sensitive people who like to complain about such things. I suppose that the accurate term for the people we now commonly either refer to as "indians" or "native Americans" would be "the people indigenous to the land now known as North America" but that is very wordy.

Fwiw, I went to school with a member of the Cherokee nation who did not mind being called either an "indian" or a "native American" but it was time to fight if you ever called him a "redskin" or an "injun".

SO what will be politically correct when 'African American' becomes passe'? And someday, it will.

I still stand by my post. Those are all divisive terms. Why is it OK to say "white" but nobody ever says "European Anglo Americans"?

Generally speaking, political correctness isn't applied to a majority class whose sensitivities aren't as likely to be held in high regard. I'm not saying that is right or that it even makes sense. That's just how pc seems to work.

And that’s why it’s socially retarded.

In anthropology class at U.T., I was taught that they were called Amerinds. I assume that is short for American Indians.

Exactly what I said. Divisive.

And I am still waiting for Le Conte to explain to me why diversity is 'better'. (from another thread)

I'll betcha they don't use that term any more. I am sure it got all politically corrected up.
