I get the joke. We all do. I got it the first 10 times he told it.

To do it during an occasion like that is just beyond the pale.

LG was visiting the Apache trading post when he saw a dog lying in the corner. All of a sudden the dog started licking his d***.

“I wish I could do that,” said LG

One of the local Apaches says, “You better pet him first.”

I think lying about being an Indian to advance your own personal ambitions is more classless...

"...He then turned to one of the code talkers behind him, put his left hand on the man's shoulder and said: "But you know what, I like you. You are special people."

Trump has never had a sincere moment which is evident every time he is in front of the cameras.

Trump is immature and can't resist his petty insults regardless of the venue or the moment at hand. Did you also catch which President's portrait was in the background while Native Americans were being honored? Why it was Mr. Trail of Tears himself, Andrew Jackson of course! Could there have been any better way to epitomize Trump and his complete lack of self awareness?

It was inappropriate to the moment. Look at the faces of those Native Americans (WW II Navajo code talkers who richly deserved to have their moment of honor). Does it look like they thought that was funny? Trump's lack of self awareness created an awkward and uncomfortable moment for the very people being honored.
