Classless...

There were a lot of fans booing when App State had guys go down with injuries. I've never been more embarrassed to be associated with the same fans that booed injured players.

I know emotions were high, but that isn't an excuse. I really hope that when things get tough in future games Vol fans show a little class, especially when players go down with injuries.

Ask your husband. He will be able to explain what was going on there.:)

My guess:

Cramping was part of App State's gameplan from the beginning. They just didn't need to "cramp" because our Offense was actually slowing itself down without their help.

When the Offense even remotely started clicking... the cramps were rolling in. Except it was like low 80s at kickoff. Musburger even gave the canned "Boone's hottest day was 84". He was prepared for their cramping.

It's a BS strategy used to artificially slow an up-tempo or no huddle offense. Fans gave them guff for flopping. ASU deserved it.

Shouldn't have been that close though. Refs were bad and ASU had cramps but UT should have still rolled them.

i dont know much about your footbal rules but 48 player looks like he doesn't want to play anymore. are the players like this taken to the bench or lockroom?

i saw your orange men online. they seem to win despite themselves. is this how your footbal players play when they dont want to win? why dont they want to win? is it because of play group statistics?

The fans were booing because the App State players were FAKING INJURIES to slow down our O. Stevie Wonder could see that.....even my wife made mention and she knows very little about football. Rewatch the game...especially 4th quarter.

Well when the guys kept going down with cramps, then walking away just fine and we're trying to go no huddle, what do you expect? Specially when one guy literally could've rolled over to get out of bounds, but then 15 seconds later walks away just fine.

Went and looked at their boards and even they were admitting that they were using it as a slowdown tactic!

I agree with everyone that the cramps were obviously intentionally but I just hate booing over just about anything. Faking injuries is no doubt classless but booing is not far behind. JMO
