Classless...

Come on now, app was classless by FAKING so many "injuries" and even if they're cramping, they still stayed on the field refusing to move for wayyyy toooo long. It was a tactic to give their defense a breather. Plain and simple.

They had "cramps" 3 times in a row on one drive. Later the DB was taunting the crowd after a "cramp". It didn't happen once when they were on O.They were faking. Even my mother who isn't a big football fan was calling foul on it. They deserved to get booed. That and the clapping to draw our O line off were big blemishes on an otherwise great game by Appy.

What is truly f'ed up here is the OP. How could you not clearly see the reasons behind the boos??????? Man.... And for you to pen what you did? Blaming other peoples character?

Wow. But hey, you can go get a job at MSNBC and CNN to cover the facts.

Never underestimate people.
OP has already received two likes at the time of my post.
There is always a percentage of people who are just completely unaware to the obscenely obvious.

By the way, I still need a check for that car accident I was in.
Permanently disfigured my legs. The fact that I was seen jogging the very next morning, your imagination only. :)

Fake injuries to slow down our offense. They were doing on purpose all game.

yeah, give them a mandatory 10 play sit out when they do it or a flag -- it was pretty obvious on some of those, it sure made the HC look like he was playing dirty football

Maybe they had menstrual cramps. Chicks have those seemingly longer than anyone likes.

There were a lot of fans booing when App State had guys go down with injuries. I've never been more embarrassed to be associated with the same fans that booed injured players.

I know emotions were high, but that isn't an excuse. I really hope that when things get tough in future games Vol fans show a little class, especially when players go down with injuries.

First off, they weren't injured. It was cramps. And, when we were getting into a rythm, three guys went down in a row. So, I believe most people were thinking they were doing that to screw any rythm we had.

And, yes it pissed me off too.

You want to fight about it? 🔵😎

One of the App St players taunted the fans after he got up from his "injury". Is that classy? The fans were booing the repeated cramping issues. I have never heard our fans boo an opposing player with a serious injury. Get real man.

The only legitimate player who cramped was the LB Wall, I believe. He actually stayed out of a series getting his calf worked on.

Hmmmm...was that when they had 3 guys cramp up on 3 straight plays? Get your guys off the field and hydrate them. Depth is part of the game and they weren't subbing guys out when they needed to

Real injuries are ones like Marcus Lattimore received, which, if memory serves, we couldn't have had more class sending him off than we did. It's common knowledge that teams fake injuries to slow down uptempo offenses.

You realize they were boo'ing because it looked like App State was trying to purposely get "injured" to slow our momentum, right?

Not saying that was the case, but I can understand how the crowd would feel that way.

That was totally the case

This is the guy that yells when we're on offense.

Maybe a couple of the "injuries" were legit. But every single one walked off fine and was in the next play. They were trying to stall the hurry up.

6 likes on this post?? OP hasn't been back since posting, so I guess they understand the inanity of this statement, just had to have it blasted through a metaphorical megaphone. I like the "sit 10 plays" idea as a rule, maybe after the second player goes down with cramps. Obviously a player safety issue, as their own training staff apparently refuses to properly hydrate their players.

Maybe one of them were honest cramps. When you string together one after every play? Classic stall techniques. The fans who booed knew their stuff...I commend them.

They were booing because they weren't actually injured. You don't find it interesting that they only kept getting injured when we were driving? The last dude literally taunted the crowd as he got up. Nah, it was fake as hell. **** that ****, I would have booed too after about the third one in one drive.
