Thought we could use a thread reminiscing over the stories of other fans being classless. I’ll start...

I was taking my 100 year old great grandmother (who was a nun) to her first game in Neyland. She had just helped a lot of orphans and had received two free tickets to the Florida game. We sat near a uf family and they cussed out my nun grandma the entire game. They said they could never be nuns because jorts were not allowed. The dad peed on her shoes and the mom spit her chewing tobacco on her. My grandma was upset, but she wanted to keep watching the Vols, so we stayed. Then the two kids in the family flicked boogers on her. After their mom bought them beers, the kids got even worse. I can’t write it all down here, but they did steal her dentures and were amazed that it had all the teeth. They said their grandma’s dentures only had three teeth total, just like their mama.

Anyway, granny hasn’t been back to many games after that. Glad I have more class than uf fans! And more teeth. And branches to my family tree.

I live in Alabama, so the stories I could tell.

1) Bama fan shoots and kills another Bama fan after argument about why Bama lost to A&M.

2) The bowlegged bammer who poisoned the oak trees on Toomer’s corner. Then called into the Paul Finebaum show. By the way, I don’t think Finebaum would have his current success if not for that whole incident.

3) Every year around the iron bowl a bammer shoots a barner (or vice versa).

4) I remember vividly walking out of Neyland after a Florida game and Florida fans throwing oranges down from the stadium at Vol fans. Hit a lady in the head in front of me.

It’s a different day today and that was over the top last night. It appeared the throws came mostly from student section. Some need to try out for QB or pitcher for Vitello

F these refs I’d throw more beer too if I could. Tired of this ******** always getting shafted.
Then faking injuries made it worse

First and I agree **** everyone else who said what happened was classless! Great look for the recruits that should tell them that our fan base is very passionate and we are tired of losing and tired of BS refs throwing BS flags.
It was classless and right back at you gatorboy.

Beyond comprehension that we have people here that not just condone this behavior, but glorify it. It's ridiculous. It's a football game. A Game.

It's not okay to act like a 3 year old that's not given the red and yellow plastic thing hanging on the shelf in the checkout line at the Dollar Tree.

We'll get past this, but to say anything other than it was juvenile and an embarrassment for the university and the fanbase as a whole, is discouraging.

In 2006 in Bruce Pearls first year we were playing a road game at Georgia at Stegeman Coliseum and I was looking on craigslist for tickets while we were driving down from Knoxville. Well someone posted last minute have to meet or go to waste tickets. I meet the man at a Chick-fil-A and he is in a super nice car. I purchase the tickets super cheap. Super nice guy he said his wife is at hospital and they are starting the inducement when he gets to hospital. He wasn't enamored I was a Vols fan but he kept his word and was very nice and sold them. Keep in mind his nice car.

I get to the Stegeman Coliseum and ushers point us down. I get down and am looking for seats amd the lowest usher says your seats arent here they are on the floor. At this point I am like wow major score. So me and wife go to very bottom usher lets us through a chain like rope that separates floor from restbof arena and asked how I got Doctor so and sos seats? So i was sitting down there with their big donors.

Here is the thing where things went south. Me I am a yeller and I have never sat on floor my seats have always been in 314 upper of Thompson Boling so I yell as loud as I can. I yelled at this game just like I was in upper deck. Nothing vulgar nothing classless. Just noise stuff and what not. Like 3 or 4 times Levi Stukes their best player looked over his shoulder at me. But Georgia fans threw Dasani water bottle caps at me. After game Dane Bradshaw and the guys before Bruce made a error in judgement came over because I was in UGAs ear the whole time. Next Bruce probably shouldn't have and didnt the rest of the year but he sent the players up in the stands to a section of all orange at top of their arena that traveled by bus to watch the game. The Georgia fans didnt like that and were pushing our players. lol

And I have an experience the year Kentucky won title with Anthony Davis and Michael Kidd Gilchrist. My friend got tickets and i was like 3rd or 4th on his list to ask the others couldn't go on short notice mid week game. I told my boss sorry but I am leaving work early as I have never been to Rupp. He being a Vol fan said no problem absolutely go experience that. Well we get up there and literally its major hostile. People are genuinely pissed that someone sold their tickets to Vols fans. Again I am a yelled so I am screaming my lungs out and we are getting blown out. Well Renaldo Woodridge "Swiperboy" as his rap name for some of you as old as me. Has one of games of his life. Doesn't matter but banks in some ridiculous 3 and we are nowhere near being in the game but that got us close enough we ain't getting beat by 30 if you know what I mean. Well some fan turns around and yelled at me and said the refs are keeping you in the game Tennessee. I said look youre right Vols i think it was 9 fouls Kentucky 3. And several people got upset and one ladies son said Ill beat your 🍑. And his mom said and Ill press charges against you if you hit him back. My boy is 17 he can do whatever he wants and you cant touch him. Well needless to say I was like this is dumb. I am not a fighter so I ignore them and continue yelling at game as though we were in it though we weren't.

So any time Tennessee Georgia and Kentucky in anything and we beat the brakes off of them I get happy thinking all those people are angry somewhere. 😆

Yeah if you have ever thrown a golf ball thats incredibly hard. And for whoever made their target to Kiffin. Wow. I thought for sure he had in his pocket the whole time and once things went south he played look wjat they threw at me. Until the replay you see it coming in.

That's your opinion I myself am ok with it. Either way your opinion isn't more correct than mine 🤷

Wonder if you had the same reaction in 2019 when we beat Ole Miss?

2010 Music Bowl had to take my kid and his friend out of the stands and over to the Logan’s patio to watch the end of double OT because sad sack Vandy fans were chucking Miller Light Bottles.

Every team has its moments…unfortunately, the media loves dog piling on us so expect this one to be talked about, as well as brought up by commentators in games for at least the next few weeks if not the remainder of the season.

As to the Bama parts? I made a trip down to Anniston a few years back to jam with a band. The drive down there? Let's just say the level of redneckness down there was amazing to me. I had never seen a masonic lodge marked with old Coca-Cola sign before. Also saw some huge trailer parks along the way. Yeah we got a few here, but one of the guys in the band said the one I was amazed by was pretty common. No wonder Jim Clayton got rich!

As to the Florida part? Wasn't it nice for them to share their supply of Vitamin C?

You know that a Mobile home is not so named because you can move it around, but after the city in which it was invented Mobile, AL. Now that my friends mean the redneck roots run deep.

2009 at Florida, piss bomb thrown and hit my 7yr old son in the head. Drunk FL fan laughing at his aim. Tossed him about 6 rows down after beating him around the face and ears. Walked out with police escort, but had gator blood on my shirt.
Awesome 👊🏼🤨🤚🏼

I always wondered if those oranges were from Florida or California. I’m guessing California from time of the year.

In 95 I worked in a bread factory. The night of the Bama game I played Rocky Top over the intercom at least 20 times.

Verbal warning…….write up……psh.
