Classless...period

No, it's not. Our own people were getting hit. This is trash and anyone who condones it is trash. Straight-up trash!
we wonder why other fan bases call us trash, hillbillies, stupid etc. Anyone who thinks it was ok to throw trash on the field meets the criteria mentioned above.
Probably won't get anymore night games, students may be banned from rest of home games, and will cost the school a pretty penny.

It’s a sport - it’s not mortal combat. And, if you are throwing crap and stopping the game while your team still has a chance to win, you are hurting them not helping them.

Hopefully, you will have sense enough to be embarrassed when you sober up.
No. He hasn't had a drop to drink.

Or society keeps deteriorating. Peoples ideals, thought of what is acceptable behavior, and the idea that anything is okay and justifiable continue to erode what our nation was founded on... Without rules and ramifications we are nothing. That may not make a lot of sense but I've been drinking..... You know what I mean....

Why is it embarrassing to stick up for your team?
Exactly how is throwing things like children sticking up for your team?

It's childish. Like mad little kids throwing things.

I don't know about you but I'm a grown ass man and I don't throw things when I'm mad. I throw hands when I'm threatened, not when I'm mad.

Ah, so bad behavior is justified because other people do it too.

THAT makes sense. I wonder if I should use that as my legal defense.

I don’t think it’s justified but the pearl clutching and acting like it is something that doesn’t happen is ridiculous. And ESPN acted like it was a war zone. It was classless but there is no need to be overly dramatic about it. Fans throwing stuff onto the field/court isn’t exactly new.

This is just a classless act. Embarrassing. Not sure I want to support that. Just pure backwards trash behavior.

Your picture is of Gaulden flipping off the Alabama fan… is that where the line is drawn? Because had that game been close or UT winning that would have been a powder keg waiting to happen.

The "EsPn HaTeS uS" crowd will get sick of this being shown over and over again. It was nasty.

OK, so you agree that throwing objects onto a playing field or court is bad behavior and that it’s classless. So maybe we should be encouraging people to stop doing it?

Isn’t class an admirable trait?

Its really sad if you dont like the refs for bad calling ok that happens almost every game. But when our band or cheer team and other school personal have to be told to leave OUR feild thats classless. Yall didnt hurt anyone yall were mad at you just hurt people in the stands and our schools reputation. And made us look like drunks who dont know how to win. And possibly cost a qb because of a delay of game in witch he couldnt warm back up for due to game time.

Worst possible result from a huge game. Our fans look like like idiots...we lose a game we coulda/shoulda won...lose our best Qb probably for the season. Let Lane Kiffin come in and get his revenge or whatever....and if there ever was a bad day to be a Tennessee Vol...this is it. Feels like the Oklahoma game. Sold out crowd.... excitement....and fail at the end. Btw... Milton is a friggin idiot with the IQ of a turd. We'll get em next year....cuz this one is over w Milton at QB.

Yes, did I say somewhere that we shouldn’t?

Isn’t class an admirable trait?

Yes, but it’s college sports. And not only that, but it’s SEC football. There isn’t a classy fan base in the SEC. Not to mention the game lacked class all around. Ole Miss players taunting fans is classless, faking injuries is classless, Lane Kiffin as a human being is classless. When it comes to SEC football, “class” isn’t exactly something that is abundantly present.
