So I have been hearing a lot of talk over recruits left in our class to get. As of rightnow we have 17 recruits committed. So I took info from Skeeter and OCI (as well as other recruiting services) and made a list of what everyone is basically projecting our class to finish up like.

Commits
4 star
Kameron Miles
Ben Bradley
Jason Carr
Paul Harris
Jalen Reeves-Maybin
Austin Sanders

3 star

Riley Ferguson
Camion Patrick
Corey Vereen
De’Vondre Campbell
Colton Goeas
Brent Kendrick
Dan Skipper
Josh Smith
Cameron Sutton
Dominic Zanca

2 star

Zach Barnes

Most Likey to Commit
5 star
Derrick Green
4star
A.J. Turman
Vonn Bell
Johnathon Rumph
Brandon Langley
Yannick Ngakoue
Naim Mustafaa
Toby Johnson
Reeve Koehler
Marquez North
3 star
Mack Weaver

Others mentioned in this forum
Carl Lawson-5 star
EJ Levenberry- 4 star
Jalen Strong-Juco WR
Chantaze Jackson-

This would give us 27 commitments for this class. Most likely Camion Patrick will not qualify so you can drop it to 26. This gives us an average of 3.58 Stars per player and would have been good enough for a Top 7-10 Team Ranking in 2012. Most likeyl we will not oversign so one player will leave or be asked to leave, but I will not speculate who.

Each of these recruits I have as most likey to sign, all but Mack Weaver (Vandy Commit) is scheduled to give us a visit. And I think Mack Weaver is our biggest question mark at this point, but if we get him on campus I believe he will commit.

Ones in italics are ones that maybe long shots and/or not in the vols overall plans.

Brendan Langley and Naim Mustafaa are not coming here. You also left Marquez North off the list, who seems to be all Vol.

This would give us 1-5 star, 14-4 stars and 11-3 stars and 1-2 star

And the class breakdown would be: QB- 1, RB- 2, WR-4, OL-4, TE-1, ATH-1, DE-1, DT-2, LB-7, DB-4

I'm not sure we want Langley.

Both are visiting for the Bama game, and if we play Bama tough and maybe play tough or win in Columbia I could see LAngley flipping. Mustafaa, I admit is a bigger question mark.

Langley isn't coming here because he isnt a take. Apparently he hasn't impressed many people, and not just at UT. Cameron Sutton is a better prospect.

Now with Croom converting to TE, I didn't know if we would sign a TE in the class or not. There are not really any out there that are really oustanding prospects.

Mustafaa, Langley, and Weaver should be off that list.

M. North, Chauntez Jackson, and Jaelen Strong should be added.

I did accidentally leave North off, but I am not all that certain Jackson and Strong will give us a vistit. Have they said yet?

Sounding more and more like we'll get a visit from Levenberry. Remember, this kid was all Tennessee before Wilcox and Sirmon left.

That Bama game is going to be huge, at least 2/3 of the uncommitted guys on Tennessee's short list are visiting that weekend.

Yea now with it sounding like there may be a little more room, if we get Carl Lawson and Levenberry and keep Barnse that would be 9 LB's in this class for Sal to work with...

You've consistently said you feel good about where we stand with him....hope you're right.

I could not believe that Dan Skipper is 6 ft. 10 in's tall.
He MUST play special teams and block the kicks for us.

Green, Lawson, and Hatcher are my three biggest wants for this class.

If we land one of them, it's a good class. If we land 2 of three it's even better. If we land all 3....EPIC.
