Class action lawsuit?

So as a fan, what guarantees has UT made to you and what minimum do you feel you are entitled to?

And posts like this are a symptom of today's society. I'm not happy so someone, somewhere owes me something. I'm not getting what I deserve. šŸ™„

Could we the fans or the school sue Pruitt for gross incompetence. Sorry maybe a dumb question, not a lawyer. I mean 50 violations that sounds pretty gross and incompetent.

No. No standing. No cognizable damages. This is not a legal issue for fans.

Pruitt's incompetence on the field and cheating off the filed has likely cost me about $10 million dollars worth of stress and mental anguish. I'm still triggered from the Arkansas fg debacle and continuously trotting JG out there even though a blind monkey knew the results ahead of time.

I should at least get my money back for contributions made to the University, ticket purchases, parking purchase and reasonable travel expense reimbursement. This, at the very least, is a reasonable expectation and I feel he is obligated to pay these damages to me. At a very minimum. Our money was used to do dirty deeds and we didn't sign up for this as donors.

We have lost time. We have lost joy. We have lost to GA State and BYU. I could go on. I mean if someone can sue McDonald's because they serve hot coffee and criminal can sue a homeowner because they fell on a knife when breaking into someone's home then we should be compensated for our mental anguish.

If you actually read the transcripts or a case study on that McDonalds case. McDonalds got off easy. They were serving coffee at 180-190 degrees. At that temperature, any spill will cause 3rd degree burns in less than 3 seconds. They had been repeatedly warned and fined by the state health department regarding unsafe temperatures of their beverages. Over 700 previous customers had complained of injury. McDonalds paid several of their medical bills. The lady that got burned suffered 3rd degree burns and required surgery. She initially offered to settle for her medical bills and lost wages but McDonalds refused. Lawyers got involved. The jury found gross negligence and awarded even more to the lady than she asked for: $3m. The judge reduced that amount by 80%. McD threatened appeal and the parties settled privately for much less.

I haven't heard of the "falling on a knife" story, but it seems like there might be more to it than that.

And a highway patrolman can sue for hearing loss from the siren on his patrol car
