Question, I hear there are quite a few f bombs in this game. I’d love to get it for my kids, but not if that’s in it. Can anyone confirm or deny?
I wouldn't recommend this game for youngsters. I don’t recall much about the language. But it's a M rated game for a reason. The story is emotionally devastating in more than one place. It's a dark game at times and there is content I wouldn't think appropriate for younger than older teens.

Gotcha. 14 is my youngest. That’s where my mind is as far as age.

While I'm glad to see it winning all the awards this year,I'm a bit burnt out on turn based games. (Although Final Fantasy X was one of my all time favorites) Maybe I'll get to it eventually. That being said, I'm glad something this unique and from a small developer got such praise. Its a good thing for gaming.

Hopefully, more like this is put out to challenge the AAA games to put out better games.

14 is probably a tad young, unless they are mature for their age. It's not Grand Theft Auto or anything.

But you can romance 2 characters (anything untoward is implied and not seen on screen) there is a scene where the party has some wine together, and there may be some course language here and there.

If it were a movie it would probably have an R rating, but barely.

He’s young for his age so not yet. Maybe we will check out Baldurs Gate 3 instead.

Yeah I would wait til at least 16 or so for your kids to play this if you’re a cautious parents. It covers some heavy topics and I think it’s a game they’d enjoy much more with a more mature mind.

Yeah,I forgot to mention that about BG3. The side characters basically throw themselves at you seductively that isn't very subtle. The gameplay and story is otherwise great.

yeah, the first time I had one of those instances play out, I laughed and clicked a response that I thought was funny and wouldn't lead to anything. it did. and it kept coming back.

Finally finished act 2. Yeah this game is an all timer. One of the most interesting narratives I’ve experienced in a game and there’s still a whole act to go. I’m getting the plat trophy for this, I want to spend as much time in this game as possible.

Probably in my Top 5 of all time.

My only criticism is that it’s definitely a game where you have 5 characters, with only the ability to use 3 at a time, and so I primarily stuck with the same 3.

Sciel and Monoco pretty much just sat on the sidelines my entire playthrough, I would have liked for the game to give me a reason to get them more involved.

Yeah fair point but I feel like it’s easy to level everyone up together with swaps. I use everyone and no one is below 2 levels of my highest leveled character. Sciel is my favorite character, I could never bench her! lol

I just never got the hang of her. Put too many eggs in the basket of Maelle’s virtuous stance and based every action around that, never looked back really.

I getcha. The game is super friendly though I’m never being locked in down one path. I’ve loss count of how
Many recoats I’ve picked up so if you ever replay o recommend trying out different strats for each character. Same with their different weapons etc. My Sciel is a glass cannon, she can’t take many hits but her damage is insane atm lol
