This game bites compared to the pc versions of Civ.
I like Civ. games to be long and drawn out..this one is cool if you like it short and sweet.

pretty good game. it's like tennfold said, though, the playthroughs can be extremely short. still worth putting some game time in though.

I'm addicted to this game. I got dominated by the Russians and had to start over.

I nuked the Aztecs last night... pretty impressive. Except you only get one which really sucks.

I just picked up Civilization V at a hefty discount, I've heard mixed reviews, some as low as 7.5, which is very low by Sid Meier standards....Going to check it out this afternoon, as these games take a good 10-12 hours to figure out if they are worthy of the name or not.

Its a pretty good game, not the best in the series but pretty good.

So, Civ V ate alot of my day yesterday, I was pretty impressed, as I usually am with the series.

Its more or less Civ 4 with some minor changes, some good, some eh. Also, they have made it so you can't stack units, which changes strategy quite a bit.

Finished my first play through of Civ V on warlord, started with everything random, and ended up with the Egyptians, about 1/2 way through I regretted not starting on a higher difficulty, as it became a run away.

Good game, about what you'd expect from the series, if you can pick it up with a free coupon I'd reccomend it, but for retail price I'd say just stick with a previous version.

Loved it on PC but I can only play the original release without expansions and even then it takes brutally long between turns after a while.

Years ago I'd get sucked into games and manage to forget to sleep before work
