There is now zero doubt that Currie was hired to do the bidding of Haslam - and he did exactly that. Haslam's failures in the football enterprise are simply obvious.
As we ponder events, powerful boosters, such as Charlie Ergen and their appointed advocates are doing everything they can to wrestle power away and right the ship from Haslem and his puppet Currie. Atlanta Vol is in that mix too. They were blindsided by Currie and Haslams underhanded move.
Currie has no credibility and will not be the UT AD after his debacle. Nobody want's to sign with a failed AD who will be booted shortly for incompetence.
Please keep up the pressure on DiPeitre to remove Currie and install Blackburn - the man who should have been AD if not for Haslams meddling. The next hire will require a solid, serious AD, not a dead man walking. We need an AD free from Haslam's influence. Then we can hire a serious coach. UT is loaded with money and resources - along with the best fan base in the country. We are taking back this team. Sunday was the shot across the bow. UT fans rule.
