Citrus Bowl announces...

No. I'd rather have a beatable opponent in the Liberty Bowl now and hopefully finish with the same record as last year. A Citrus Bowl matchup is a likely loss and a worse record than last year. Plus since bowls tend to avoid having the same team in back to back years, I'd rather have Orlando be on the table next year if TN can go 9-3 or 10-2 (or better).

Just FYI the Citrus Bowl never tweeted about the potential matchups. They just simply stated a decision would be made in 24 hours. I wouldn't get your hopes up.

Comparing us to rest of candidates we could be considered to go to citrus. I would rather us face a legit team hoping to win and possibly giving momentum for 2017 or lose and signify butchie needs to walk quicker

Yeah, I know but the potential 4 would be FSU/TN/LSU/LOUISVILLE

They won't have a repeat of Michigan/Florida.

2 top tier programs that had disappointing seasons. Both offensives are electric. Both defenses not so much. Both QBs are mobile. And who wouldn't want this matchup?!

Th FSU defense has improved dramatically since the beginning of the season, the UT has only gotten worse.

I agree. No way we end up there. I

I wouldn't bet against it. Deserves doesn't have a damn thing to do with it when it comes to some games. It's about how well a team travels and Tennessee travels very well. Idk if they land there or not but move out of the "deserves" mindset.

After Auburn goes to Sugar, the best remaining SEC teams are LSU, TN, FL. TN beat FL. But FL beat LSU. LSU actually has a 7-4 ranking. They also lost to 2 teams who are playing for their champ game. TN? We BEAT 3 of them... Va Tech, Florida, and Ohio.

Based off our RESUME... we should still get the edge from LSU.

Losing to two of the worst teams in the league in the second half of the season isn't good.

If it's lsu vs the ville or Tennessee vs fsu. I'll take Tennessee going.

LSU vs LOUISVILLE in the Music City Bowl makes more sense for both team.. just as Tennessee vs FSU in Orlando.

Logistics make a difference.

in 24 hours via Twitter.

Could it be true?

TN vs FSU?

or

LSU vs Louisville.

or?

I have a good feeling about the TN vs FSU for some reason. Go Vols!!!

We will get break shoes beat off of us.....they handled uf which would beat us badly right now. We really need play caliber of northwestern again to have a shot of winning

Except UT fans in Tennessee don't even want to travel to nashville for the MCB. Not sure why we would travel to Orlando.

Well the MCB isn't really the better Bowl in this situation, that's why. I doubt it's location.

Pretty sure the Sugar Bowl is a bit longer of a drive and I bet if we were going to Sugar Bowl, Vol Fans would pack it.

Yeah bc that would be a satisfying season. Instead we tanked our season by losing to South Carolina and pathetic Vanderbilt. Butch got out coached by muschamp and freaking Mason how pathetic
