Good. I hope he loses. Looks like the contract is pretty clear. I can testify that UT is having many players sign 2-year agreements.

Just like coaches jumping, it's going to cost the team being jumped to more to get a player because they have to pay a buyout. It's basically just a big donor problem though.

It'll give back a little leverage to schools, like it did with Mensah, but if a school wants a player and especially a school like Texas Tech with ridiculously rich donors, they'll consider it just the cost of doing business.

It'll hurt schools with timid donors for whom a million is real money. Some billionaire in Texas is going to yawn, call a couple of buddies, and they'll write checks to Cincinnati.

These guys want all the big boy benefits with none of the big boy responsibilities. If they want the money, they get to sign binding contracts and deal with the ramifications. If they play like sh*t, they get to get crapped on publicly in the media and by fans.

Players like Nico wanted the bag and they can (deservedly) get all that comes with it.
