There's ZERO comparison between him and Butch other than they both coached at Cincinnati. Butch got his wins from Brian Kelly's leftover players. Fickell is winning with his own players. Notre Dame didn't have a problem with hiring a coach from Cincinnati. They're in the conversation for the playoffs every year, while we're the butt of jokes. It sucks that the best response people have about Fickell is comparing him with Butch. He's 10x the coach that Butch will ever be.
