Kicker is likely the most 'mental' position in regards to if something is off, it gets in your head and everything just goes completely off the rails.
When that happens it is hard for a lot of people to bounce back and sometimes all a person needs is a change of scenery.

I always liked Brent and appreciate the four years he gave us his all, even when struggling.
Good luck young man and do great things !!!

Remember Cig eating out long snapper early in first game for bad snap. Then later in game Cig missed a short FG's we somehow still beat South Carolina. He came across as a jerk on that TV shot.

I've never been a fan of an overly emotional kicker. You know, the type with a bunch of tats and likes to stare down the other team and talk trash after he: (wait for it.......) makes a field goal.

Seems like there is always some drama going on with him.

Didn't know kickers were in such high demand? Regardless, the new coaching staff will definitely have a clean slate to work with.

No need for FGs in this offense. Wants an opportunity to redeem himself from his disappointing 2020 campaign.

He knows how much we're getting ready to score and how many kickoffs, extra points, and FG's he was going to have to do. The human leg can only take so much.
