Cimaglia deserves credit

Cimaglia doesn't get nearly enough credit...he's great.....I will say he seems a little silly when he talks crap to the opponent after a kick...

I'd say, if we switched kickers with Indiana, we'd have lost the game. Cimaglia is a Great kicker, theirs-thankfully, not so much.

Absolutely! Kickers and punters don't get the credit they deserve for putting the whole game in better shape. Long live the guys who "foot"ball is named after!

He is so confident. I love how he comes out there, kicks it through, and seems to just have an attitude of "yeah, this is what I do, no big deal." I did feel sorry for the other kicker. I can't help it, the mom comes out in me when any kid makes a mistake and I feel for them.
He cost them a sure overtime with the missed XP. I'm sure he feels like he lost the game for them.

I heard a coworker say mvp of the year goes to Cimaglia. He scored the most points from the red zone for the vols.

Truthfully, Cimaglia should be our offensive player of the year. His consistency and amount of points scored made Tennessee a better team. Maybe co-offensive player with Mr. Jennings.

Cimaglia has been so good, he should be awarded the highest honour in the Tennessee kicking world: he should be adopted as a Colquitt. :)

Heh. Go Vols! Good on ya, Brent!

He got screwed on not being 1st team All SEC. No way 20th year senior Hot Rod deserved that this year. Way too many missed big kicks .

Coach Pruitt says if he asked him to go in @ linebacker he'd do it. He's tough as nails and has a helluva of a leg !!! GO VOLS !!!

Cimaglia is our most consistent place kicker since about 2002 in my humble opinion. For the first time since then I expected a positive outcome when we elected to kick a field goal. Not intended to bash Palardy and other kickers, but they were often asked to keep us afloat under immense pressure and thus, were inconsistent.

All he has to do is have some kicker brothers or sons come through and they can be known as the Cimaglias
