Cigar /Pipe Smoking thread

Ultimate zen.
Sitting in a private family cemetery at what we call the farm.this smoke should last til sunset.IMG_5308.jpeg
I’ve heard at least 2 birds gobbling in the woods to my right. I have a set up in there and a blind in the field in the photo background, way out past the brown stuff. Season starts tomorrow. Doesn’t seem to be many birds the last few years.

Hellas cigars by Raymond Pages is a good one to start.

I’ve had the Florida Man Miami Edicion…pricier than the others. Also like New Cuba…especially the corojo torpedos. Never tried these others. Thought the Megilla might stack up to the Macanudo. What do these compare to?

The Megilla MSA with a San Andreas maduro wrapper is medium full, cocoa, nutty, earthy, leather, cedar, and Raymond Pages’ signature spice counterpoint to the semisweetness of the cocoa. Blend of Nicaraguan filler and Nicaraguan binder. Well made, even burn, firm ash, prodigious smoke.

IMHO, Raymond Pages is producing some fine cigars that are affordably priced while he builds his reputation.

This morning’s post breakfast puff is the last of my Raymond Pages 5 cigar sampler, a Last of my Kind toro. Leather, earth, spice, and a caramel sweetness. I find it to be medium full in character, rich and complex. Well constructed, good draw, burning evenly, firm ash, and prodigious smoke.
