Cigar /Pipe Smoking thread

25 degrees and windy aren’t the best conditions for a cigar wrapper, even for one that has been in the humiTUB for several weeks. This morning, I did the unthinkable and coated the exterior of my cigar with saliva before lighting it. Forgive me.
Did it stick to your tongue?

For you Boveda users.
Do you notice that there’s a drop in humidity inside your humidors in colder weather? I get that in my unheated table top. I have a 72% Boveda in there and it’s a 30count box. Digital hygrometer reads 59%, and 67 degrees, room temperature.

What I can’t figure out is that in my 300 count heated King chi, I have 6 320g packs of 69%, yet my hygrometer(Xikar) reads 64% and 70degrees.
Well over a year since I’ve seasoned the wood in the King chi but have recently seasoned the Klaro desktop.
Both have good seals.
Thoughts?

I’ve been thinking about getting a humidifier for my house. Especially in the wintertime, it’s much drier and I think that plays into how well my humidor functions.
