My dad and his brothers and I were having a debate today. The question at hand was ...is Chuck Webb the best football player to ever play at Tennessee. Please...any who answer this just make it a simple yes or no. No discussion or comparison...just a simple yes or no. That being said, is Webb the best ever at UT.

I say....................................yes.

meh - most talented? I would say yes....

But since its the 'best' and with what happened to him.. I would say no.

He was great but I think Jamal Lewis was the best running back we have had in the last 30 years (based on pure talent).

Didn't Majors say that Carl Picken's was the best athlete he ever coached? Seems I remember that comment. If my memory hasn't failed me, then Majors would say NO.

I would like to know, out of all the people that did say no... who thinks Peyton is the best to play for UT?

No - not the best player ever to play at Tennessee but certainly was the best running back. In my opinion he was one of the best running backs to ever play in the SEC but few people outside of Tennessee fans ever know who he is because of how short his career was.
