Just sayin, highlights never tell the whole story of a game. Theyre not that useful for breaking down how a unit performed overall.
Those Bama highlights might show all of their defensive plays, but it wont nece show every time a player in our team was beaten or made a mistake. For instance a play where a DT flushes a QB from the pocket and forces him to throw the ball away would be a win for the defense and a loss for the offense, but unlikely to be included in a highlight video. Or a play where a DL beats his man and almost gets a TFL, but a RB makes a guy or two kids and picks up a short gain.
Football is filled with little things like this and its why watching a game play by rewinding it to see what each player and his opponent is doing is the only way to get a real idea of how a player or unit is doing.
