This makes me sick. That POS got to live. If the rest of them get off like that then something is seriously wrong with the jury.

twice now, more disturbing information has come out of each trial. i can't imagine what's going to come next when Davidson, the alleged ring leader by police, goes to trial in two weeks.

she was even given some of Christain's belongings as a "gift" from Davidson. i agree it seems shady that she didn't know what was going on, but if what i've read is correct, the cops seem to think she was there for 20 minutes at most.

they just can't pin anything on her, and as thorough as this investigation was, it seems like if they could get charges to stick, they would.

Whole thing is disgusting - as was his sentence yesterday... my cousin was best friends with Shannon and has been involved in all the hearing and questioning - her life hasn't been the same and probably always will be scarred from all this. Has been real tough on her.

In Feb., 2009 the Attorney General of the United States declared that America was a 'nation of cowards' on matters of race.

The only gutless wonders on the horizon are those in the media who continually play down black on white crime.

The Nashville Tennessean buries their meager coverage of this item in the family-business section, usually on the very back page.

When was the last time you saw anything in the media about the rampant black on white crime in Zimbabwe and South Africa since the communist takeover of those countries??

It's an outrage and a crime that Cobbins didn't get the death penalty.

not sure what happened to volger's youtube post of michelle malkin.. do a search on youtube for vent, malkin, newsom, christian... she is correct that this story doesn't fit the national media's template... that's why they won't cover it...

I can't think of any more horrendous murders than these in my lifetime...


my prayers are with those poor families.

What is really sad is to look at were the house use to be and see the flowers and cards in the front. I cannot to this day! see how the neighbors knew nothing or heard nothing. the houses are so close to each other.

Very sad, makes me sick to even think about it. How could anyone do this? Just plain evil.... My thoughts an prayers go out to the victims and their families.

They were playing Cobbins testimony tonight on 100.3 before the Titans game... I only could stand to listen to it for a couple minutes. The prosecutor asked him what "the victims names were"...he didn't have a clue.

Some speculation from the media is that the defense is going to try to prove that drugs had something to do with this, that it wasn't a random crime. Also, there is speculation that they are going to try to prove that sex between Davidson and Christian wasn't rape and that he wasn't at the home when the assaults and murders took place.
