He's a former QB coach for the Los Angeles Rams
So, why is that a slam dunk. The LAR quarterbacks have been awful. Everyone is acting like this is some slam dunk hire. If he was going to be an analyst, that's a slam dunk. Seems like CJP is hiring friends instead of the best people for the job. We shall see. Bring on that 10 win season year two CJP.
Snap and clear bud. Thes coaches are not rookies, they're people CJP trusts and has relationships with. Real recognize real. You're not seeing him struggle to pull these coaches and a quick look at resumes will ease your mind.
Helton and Weinke will get the QBs coached up. The thing about Pruitt is that he knows what a national championship team looks like and what it takes to get there. He will demand excellence and will settle for nothing less. He knows what he is doing.
Even Wikipedia knew this: As of December 8, 2017 it has been reported that Weinke will join Jeremy Pruitt's staff for the University of Tennessee football team.
Another rookie coach? Oh nevermind. Can someone explain to me the hype behind this staff? If he's an analyst at Alabama, that isn't a coach. Enlighten me as to why it's so great to have him coach QB's and why this staff is so good.
