He could probably successfully coach wide receivers but mostly be a recruiting coordinator. I believe he is currently a offense analyst at Bama so there would be a CJP connection there. They probably know each other from Florida st also.

Helton could be the Tight Ends Coach in addition to being OC. He’s spent a big chunk of his career as a TE coach. That would allow Weinke to be the QB coach.

So if this were to happen, Helton just focuses on play calling and Weinke is QB coach? I mean either way its a win win. I am just curious.
