I think Chris Peterson would be perfect for the Orange. Look at what he has done and is doing for Boise St. with less talent. The offense is never boring and the defense don't know what is coming at them. Think of the possibilities. Damn, I want CHRIS..........

People are posting a wish list of coaches and this guy is not even on there. This guy is young (43yrs old) and progresses talent better then anyone in the country.

I agree I would love to see Petersen in Neyland. How do you figure he can not cut it in the SEC? I am sure you did not think Urban could either

who would you guys want, Pete Carrol, Jon gruden, WHO? Lets be real, those coaches wont give UT a second thought. Let's get us a proven, young coach ( who is 10th in the nation) and wins games.

He cant cut it? GIVE ME A BREAK. He beat a very good Oklahoma team a few years ago with abunch of two star talent. Just think what he would do with real athletes. HIRE PETERSEN

Are you guys kidding me...... That's the same thing they said about Urban Meyer and he has been kicking our buts ever since......

Forget ye not.... Chris Peterson inherited program and system from Dan Hawkins (who was the "up and comer" 3 years ago)..... How's that worked out for Colorado?

More athletic hook and laterals? Quicker statue of liberty plays?

UGA dominated Boise when Peterson was its OC.

Don't get me wrong though.... I'd take Peterson but I would have to get about 8 "no's" first.....

Peterson ranks right next to George Quarles on my list of coaches. Somewhere between the 250-300 range.

you are also not taking into consideration that UGA is suppose to beat them. Goodness guys look at the talent level. Give him the same talent! I guess Florida was dumb for hiring Meyer because he was winning at Utah(GIVE ME A BREAK).

Also, you can not compare colorado to Tennessee its not even close so of course Hawkins will not be as successful

With the caliber of athletes that UT attracts, Chris will do great things. Chris is one of the top coaches in the nation. It doesn't matter how many trick plays he calls as long as he gets the "W." As many trick plays Florida calls and the embarrass us every year. Who gives a damn how many trick plays a team runs.

As OC for Bosie ST under Dan Hawkins for five years, I would say that its Peterson players and system. When Dan Hawkins went to Colorado, Peterson took over and how is that turned out?
