With us offering AT LEAST $5 million per season, and most of the candidates being coordinators or ex-coaches, surely we can offer $2-3 million more to lure Petersen to Knoxville. And as discussed before, $7-8 million in Knoxville is crazy money compared to Seattle due to the cost of living. Plus we know the University was willing to offer Gundy $7 million. Petersen is a name that would excite the fanbase and would earn the extra money back two-fold, if not more. I have my fingers crossed on this one!
