A very good juco player along with Chuck Smith and Dale Carter on the 90 and 91 teams. He was a part of a very talented team that played some great opponents with classic finishes those years.

This is so sad.

Rest in Peace! You were a great Vol and you will always be remembered by the Big Orange Nation.

My thoughts and prayers go out to your family and friends.

This is very sad. I remember the days of Chris Mims and Horace Morris. Didn't they play around the same time. Chris Mims was one of my all time favorite defensive ends. Sad news.

A memorable game moment.
Sugar Bowl '91

After Thompson scored to give us the lead, the game still had 25 seconds left and Virginia had 2 or 3 timeouts left. Virginia got the ball on the 30 i think and we only rushed 3 men the remaining 4 plays of the game against their cannon armed back up(Matt Blundin). Of the 4 plays UVA ran Mimbs sacked Blundin 2wice with a 3 man rush, incredible.

All the recent adversity has made this board a depressing place. I am happy to be apart of it with the logic and morality shown in this thread. VolNation.. slap yourself on the back. You did well today.

Chris.. you will be missed. Thank you for the memories. Louisville game now has an extra special slot in my head. May you rest ever so peacefully.
