Well, if nothing else, we can expect Boyd and Oku to stick with us if Kiffin is hired.

He said he would look for something by the 8th but definitely by mid-december but he said he would figure maybe a little before the recruiting dead period

I'll summarize for those who missed it.

He said there are more rumors going around than actual factual information.

Hamilton's done a great job of keeping everything under wraps.

Ultimately it's going to come down to Kiffin or Kelly.

Kiffin has said he really likes his chances from conversations and has spoken with Ed Ogeron about joining the staff. Not sure what role he would be playing as of yet.

Hamilton is on the road talking to people. Just interviewed Tim Brewster, but he's likely not at the top of their wish list.

About Kiffin's staff: Tim Davis was rumored to be joining before going to Minnesota to coach the Offensive line.

Likely to put together a staff of a lot of guys with ties to the SEC.

Thinks the decision will definitely be coming before the 8th of December.

also another important aspect in all of this is the recruiting dead period starts dec. 15th. we need a coach in place before then for sure.

I know that. I'm just saying I cannot be classified in your statement that the preds are "our" hockey team. Yes, the preds are the Nashville hockey team, but are not the overall fanbase outside of the area.

Look for an announcement Monday, December 1st if it is Kiffin! This will be right after our season has ended, and it will have given Phil his respect by not announcing until after the season. It also gives Kiffin some time to recruit and keep our recruits, whereas waiting another week only hurts those chances. If it is Kelly then I don't think it will be announced until Cincy knows where it will be Bowlin'... Dec. 8th.

Kiffin 12/1 or Kelly 12/8... We will wait and see!

He basically said that all the rumors we've been hearing are just that, rumors. Hamilton has yet to make a decision.

I agree. If we can get Coach Kiff early next week then that would give him about 2 weeks worth of recruiting before the dec. 15th dead period.
