How the hell is this man making the big bucks writing for ESPN??? He wouldn't know real journalism if it slapped him in the face. Every chance he gets, he tosses his completely biased views of Kiffin around. The guy writes like he works for a high school paper. He is terrible. I especially loved his gas station comment piece where his only source was a high school kid. ESPN is basically the National Enquirer of sports reporting.

So you read one or two articles that you disagreed with and freaked out? Did you read the article on Hood? Perhaps you should read more of his stuff before you make another "espn hates us" claim.

You are wrong. Chris Low is one of the best journalists UT has ever had. He know covers the SEC, but his coverage of UT is still always very accurate and most of the time he is the one breaking stories.

Fail.

You forget what I call the "Theorem of Tennessee Fans":

The talent of a sports reporter or writer is inversely proportional to the amount he trashes the Vols.

Conversely, in the eyes of UT fans, the theorem compels this statement to be true:

If a reporter says something positive about the Vols, whether its true or not, he's a freakin ' genius.

I think most college football fans do that with the writers in their town. In any case, I can't see Tennessee fans being the only one's who do that.

This is true of any fan base whether it be college or professional. But only portions of the fan base. Squeaky wheel get there grease.

The sub-theorem is this:

Every fan base has its Achilles' Heel. Alabama fans live in the 1960's. Southern Cal fans do not realize that their team always loses a game it should win. Tennessee fans live for the Narrative Fallacy.

Look it up.

C Low was a beat writer for Tennesse for 10 years.
He is not the best but he certainly isnt the worst. Its funny you say that cause if you read the posts below other articles tons of fans are calling him a UT homer.

Well, as lunatic fringes go, I appear to have hit the mother load here.
you like many of us, spend too much time here.

i'm quite positive if you spent equal time in swampgas or gatorcountry or any other sec board, you'd find equal, at least per captia anyway, numbers.

I assume you mean by attending UF and choosing to live in retiree land?

Dude, what are you talking about!? I live in Orlando, which is dominated by young people. For one thing, all the gangs have been killing off the local seniors.

I'm talking about the fact that you're a UF alum and choose to live in Florida as being the reason that you would talk about making a choice to be surrounded by the lunatic fringe. This isn't very hard if you'll just try to keep up with your own comments.
