I hate seeing anyone lose their job, but this is just a big business more than it’s a sport. Not hat it matters but if Pruitt is let go and they don’t hire Freeze, this board will have a meltdown. I’m sure Freeze is good but there’s other options. Just don’t think you can put all your eggs in one baske.

I hate seeing anyone lose their job who doesn’t have a 12 million dollar payday coming to them for being fired

Herman is option A. Younger than Freeze, great offensive mind, has helmed probably the hardest job in the country at Texas, and no baggage.

Tennessee will not hire Freeze, or my favorite choice which is Chadwell.Campbell won’t come, Herman might. Can we catch lightening in a bottle(Texas) twice.

Malzahn is bad at player development. Give him a QB who doesn't even need coaching like Cam Newton and he looks brilliant. Whereas, Dan Mullen is spectacular at player development.

I don't want to get rid of Pruitt because of the investigation. I want him fired because he can’t coach and we’re using the investigation as a tool to rid him for cause. Hiring Hugh Freeze would be an excellent move for Tennessee. I believe in second chances and Knoxville is the perfect place to extend that grace. Comeback stories are awesome.

Herman would be an upgrade but my question is could he compete in the SEC. Imo if you don't have major success at Texas you're gonna struggle at most every school in the SEC.
I mean he had several great classes and still struggled in the big 12. I don't see any signs that he would do better here. Recuiting to Texas is alot easier. You basically never have to leave the state.

No, if we fire Pruitt, we likely hire someone like Jamey Chadwell, who did well this year at Coastal Carolina, but who's still a huge gamble, up-and-comer type.

We could do much worse than chadwell. I kind of doubt he would come here anymore after all this.
